Demuth in the City of Lights: July 11 at the Demuth Museum in Lancaster. This exhibition focuses on Charles Demuth’s (1883-1935) three sojourns in Paris and investigates how Demuth’s artistic and social experiences in the City of Lights contributed to his artistic development. Prestissimo Concert: July 14 at the Lititz Church of the Brethren. Two masterworks of the chamber music literature are performed by festival artists: Brahms Quartet in G minor and Dvorak Piano Quintet in A. Concert begins at 7:30pm. Wine & Music Thursdays at Tamanend Winery: July 14 at the Tamanend Winery in Lancaster. “Celebrate America” with us from 5:30 – 8:30. Festival String Orchestra: July 15 at Millersville University, Lancaster Campus.
