The worlds of Disney animation and classical music have crossed in the past – “Fantasia,” anyone? – but the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra will be the next to take on the memorable melodies of several Disney classics in their upcoming concert.
“Disney In Concert: Magical Music from the Movies” will feature music from Disney hits such as “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Aladdin” and “The Lion King.” The live-action Disney films won’t be forgotten, either, as the concert also includes numbers from “Mary Poppins” and “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
