Brought to you by the Rotary Club of Lancaster this weekend May 30, 2014 from 6PM to 9PM they will be hosting their spring fundraiser and social event at the Lancaster Museum of Art in Downtown Lancaster. This event will be open to all who pay the admission price of $25 that covers the costs of hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and musical entertainment for the night from live bands. To purchase your tickets you should contact Russ Harlan at 717-381-2471.

On top of the tickets for admission, guests have the opportunity to enter in a raffle with a live drawing at the event. The grand prize is $10,000 CASH ! The 2nd prize is a trip for two, including airfare, and the choice of 5 wonderful locations. The 3rd prize is jewelry donated by Ream Jewelers. There is no need to be present to claim your prize.

2014 Pennsylvania Guild MARKERSfest | Lancaster, PA

Sunday June 8th, 2014 marks the first annual MARKERsfest taking place on the famous 300 block of North Queen St in Downtown Lancaster. The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen will host this event on this date from 10AM to 6PM for everyone to come on out and enjoy the beauty of artwork in the making as well as the complete works of art.

The street festival is open for people of all ages to come out and enjoy their day. There will be music, food trucks, activities that stimulate the young creative minds into new ways of thinking artistically and ingeniously. There will be over 50…. that’s right 50, merchants dotted on the strip showcasing their talents from anywhere to textile, jewelry, furniture and much much more.

There will be activities for everyone to enjoy as well such as making your own t-shirt. Just bring in a blank t-shirt and they will screenprint it with one of the three “Lancaster City of Makers” designs. There a ton of activities to do with the whole entire family so get more information on how you and your family can spend a Sunday afternoon together!

Of course there is the monthly “Lovin’ Lititz Every Second” which takes place on every second Friday of each and every month. Much like First Friday in Downtown Lancaster, this event brings people from all over to celebrate this beautiful small town of Lititz, PA. The shops and restaurants are open later so everyone can come and enjoy themselves and enjoy the small town feel.

During this wonderful get together in Downtown Lititz there are musicians, artists and entertainers will be out on the sidewalks of this picturesque town to enjoy this wonderful celebration of Lititz. Lancaster, PA is quickly becoming a foodie attraction for visitors and locals alike. There are countless amount of restaurants in the Downtown area that are all easily accessed by foot and plenty of variety to choose from. French, Hispanic, Asian, Vegan the list goes on and on !
