Speakeasy Bash | Columbia, PA
Step into our time machine and turn back the clocks to the 1920’s this Daylight Saving Time weekend! The National Watch and Clock Museum is “Puttin on the Ritz” with a time travelers dance called the Speakeasy Bash!
Go and join in the fun on Saturday, March 8, from 7 to 10 p.m. as the Museum roars back to the 1920’s. Kick up your heels on the dance floor with the 10- piece Roaring 20’s Jazz Orchestra and a rotunda full of fedoras and flappers. Period cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will ensure a fun and nostalgic time travel event!
“We are excited to go back in time this night and celebrate a period in time that is unique in American history as we mark the beginning of Daylight Saving Time – which is something we have to observe here at a place that is all about time,” shares Education Director Katie Knaub.
Roaring 20’s attire is definitely encouraged! Tickets include the live music, light hors d’oeuvres, and cash bar and are $20 per person or $30 for a couple. For more information or to purchase your tickets, visit www.museumoftime.org or call 717-684-8261, ext. 234.
