Positive Changes at the Manheim Country Inn & Suites
The Manheim Country Inn & Suites had an exciting 2010 full of positive changes, and looks forward to more for 2011.
We have welcomed several new staff members, as well as promoted current staff members to new positions. Experienced Maintenance Manager, Milt Heilman, recently joined the Country Inn & Suites team, and has been completing deferred maintenance and implementing a preventative maintenance program. Former Front Office Manager, Melodie Smith, was promoted to Assistant General Manager, and veteran housekeeper, Pat Fymyer, was promoted to the position of Room Inspector. Our newly hired Director of Sales, Tonya Martin, has been creating and continuing relationships with corporate accounts, tour operators, and other groups.
We are also excited about several changes to our facility. We recently put new Serta mattresses in all guest rooms. Our fitness center has been renovated and now features brand new equipment, including a treadmill, an elliptical, and a stationary bike. In December, we added a business center in our lobby with a computer and printer for our guests’ use, and our wireless internet access points have been replaced and upgraded to ensure a better wireless signal strength throughout the entire hotel. The Manheim Grill & Restaurant opened next to the hotel, providing guests with convenient access to a hearty meal. Looking towards the future, 2011 will bring our transition to an entirely non-smoking hotel, and some changes and improvements to our complimentary deluxe continental breakfast.
